To give students a chance for differentiated instruction, we designed a three-tiered worksheets in the hope of catering to the different english levels of students.

2012-12-25 Differentiated Instruction--差異化教學
Differentiated Instruction, a program which MOE (Ministry of Education) puts great emphasis on for the coming years, is designed to meet the needs of different students with various interests and abilities in a class as a preparation for the greater diversity of students in the 12-year compulsory education. English teachers in NNKIEH are learning more about DI and here are some class designs and worksheets we have created about DI.

Dramatic activities can be greatly helpful in promoting students' oral fluency and vocabulary retention. NNKIEH spares no efforts in giving students more chances to sharpen their speaking while incorporating dramatic activities into the teaching curriculum. Gabriella is a secretary in a big company, and she always works overtime. There was another day when she went back home at midnight. She felt her body was stiff like a rock and was eager to take a bath.
After showering, she lay in the bathtub. Feeling all of her stress relieved, she sighed with satisfaction. When she felt she was in heaven, she suddenly had a glimpse of the wall. A black, huge, and disgusting cockroach was crawling on the wall, and it seemed to flap its wings and fly at any second.
Gabriella was very angry to see the annoying insect that had destroyed the most wonderful time of her whole day. She swore that she wouldn’t leave the bathroom until she killed this evil creature. She grabbed one of her slippers, took a deep breath, raised her hand and banged. With the big sound, the cockroach dropped to the tub. Gabriella won, but there was not any triumphant smile on her face. She forgot to get out of the bathtub first!
